The Department of Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine has a long tradition of innovation. This creative impulse has kept the Vanderbilt Anesthesiology Department in the vanguard of clinical discovery, basic science research, and translational application of new knowledge throughout perioperative medicine.

JOB SUMMARY:

Uses analytics to provide analysis of browser capability of selected domains with some guidance. Performs statistical treatment to identify trends and events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs development, maintenance and governance of data architecture.

  • Implements business logic at the lowest possible level of the organization.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS (NOVICE): - Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully apply statistical concepts in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Generally works under the direction of others while accomplishing assignments. Has retained equivalent knowledge from past experience.

DATA MINING (FUNDAMENTAL AWARENESS): - Knowledge of data mining and data base environment and data base access tools. Has had training in building data models. Is able to assemble the relevant data for successful data mining

DATA MODELING (FUNDAMENTAL AWARENESS): - Has some training, exposure, or light experience in data modeling. Has at least a conceptual understanding of logical and physical data modeling. Has acquired a practical understanding of the approaches, methods, and tools of data modeling.

METADATA ANALYSIS (FUNDAMENTAL AWARENESS): - Has some training, exposure, or light experience in data analysis. Assumes responsibility for routine and entry-level client analytical work. Knowledge of various reporting analytic tools, such as ACL, SQL, SAS, etc.
