SeniorDomain Specialist (Epic Inpatient Orders Analyst)

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an analyst to work on the EpicInpatient Orders team in a full time permanent position in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have health information technology experience in inpatient physician workflows, order entry, clinical decision support, and clinical documentation. This position will be responsible for analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and support activities and will work with subject matter experts, super users, and other analysts.   • EpicInpatient Orders certification, current with new version training (NVTs)

  • EpicInpatient Orders, Orders Transmittal, BPA certifications/badges

  • Previousacademic hospital experience in clinical informatics/healthcareinformation technology

  • Clinicalbackground (eg. RN, PharmD, etc)

  • Demonstratedability to work with and facilitate multidisciplinary clinician groupsas part of a clinical information system

  • Experienceeducating staff on the use of systems, preferably in a healthcareenvironment

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years relevant experience

Physical Requirements/Strengths needed & Physical Demands:
